 Welcome to the Orienta Kennels website

Orienta is a small kennel situated on the Far North Coast of NSW, Australia. We are breeders and exhbitors of the Shiba Inu..

We are members of the Canine Control Council Queensland (CCCQ), Dogs NSW, Victorian Canine Association (VCA) and the Shiba Inu Club of America (NSCA)*pending*.

As an ethical breeder we are responsible for only breeding to better the breed, which is why all our litters are carefully planned and researched to ensure only genetically healthy and sound puppies are produced. All our dogs are hip/eye tested prior to breeding and our pet puppies are always spayed/neutered prior to leaving for their new home.

2012 - A year of great accomplishments! We have had many fantastic wins through out the year, and some very promising puppies have joined the ranks of the Orienta Team! We would like to thank all of the judges, handlers and co-owners for the great success this year!

BREEDERS DREAM COME TRUE!
It is any breeders dream to visit the NIPPO Grand National, the absolute pinnacle event for Shibas, in Japan and select two dogs to bring home. Well in November 2012 Jacqui and Vanessa did just that! We welcome home "Hana" (Hana Go Nidai Yasugi) and "Manyoh" (Isumino Manyoh Isumo Choushishou)!!
